2024 Olympia Prejudice: Ms. Olympia, 212, fitness, figure, women’s body and well-being

2024 Olympia Prejudice: Ms. Olympia, 212, fitness, figure, women’s body and well-being

Less than 24 hours after a record-breaking press conference and the successful “Meet the Olympians” event, the 2024 Olympia begins with the free jury on Friday morning at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Thousands of fans sat in the seats and stood behind the seating area as their favorite competitors from around the world took the stage and faced the judges of the 2024 Olympic Prejudging Event.

Fitness, 212, Figure, Women’s Physique, Ms. Olympia and Wellness Olympia were introduced on stage at the World Fitness Expo on October 11th. You missed one of the events. Here’s a quick recap of the events in Sin City.

Olympics 2024 preliminary decision: fitness

The posing round for fitness only counts for a third of the total points, but it is still very important. Two-time winner Missy Truscott returned to the stage after a serious knee injury in 2023. She and Tamara Vahn were the focus of the final round, suggesting they were on the grass after the opening round. Next up is the Performance Round at Resorts World, which will help determine the champion later this evening.

Olympic preliminary decision 2024: 212

The audience already knew that this contest would be a rematch of 2023. Defending champion Keone Pearson and two-time winner Shaun Clarida closed things out and took to the stage in the opening round. They are both in the race for victory. It just depends on who walks off the stage as the winner. Clarida had excellent conditioning and thickness, while Pearson had his characteristic shape and size. We’ll have to wait until the final to see who will leave the stage as world champions in 2024.

Prejudice for the 2024 Olympics: number

Based on fan reaction, Cydney Gillon appears to be well on her way to her eighth consecutive Olympic title. Their only threat appears to be 2023 Masters Olympic champion Jessica Reyes Padilla. They took center stage at the end of the round and are the favorites for tonight’s final.

Olympic preliminary decision 2024: women’s physique

The same cannot be said for the women’s physique division. The audience and jury seem to be split between three-time defending champion Sarah Villegas and 2022 winner Natalia

Abraham Coelho. If Villegas is successful, she will attempt to break the record for most wins in the division’s history with four wins. Meanwhile, Coelho appears to be the second athlete to regain the title after losing it. Either way, history is being made at the Resorts World Theater.

Olympia 2024 Prejudice: Ms. Olympia

We also saw a dramatic conclusion to Ms. Olympia. Four-time champion Andrea Shaw was looking for redemption after losing the Rising Phoenix 2024 to Angela Yeo. Meanwhile, Yeo wanted to become the second champion in this division since the relaunch of Ms. Olympia in 2020. From the jury’s point of view, this competition can be traced back to these two. Shaw had the size advantage and was in better shape than he was at Rising Phoenix. Yeo was determined to assert himself and did better in Las Vegas too. Nothing has been resolved here and we’ll see what happens later this evening.

Prejudice about the 2024 Olympics: Wellness

Francielle Mattos is the only female champion in the history of this division. She wanted to enrich her legacy with a fourth consecutive Olympic victory. However, Isabelle Nunes and Eduarda Bezerra want to establish that the future of the division is now. If fan support had helped decide the champion, Meadows could have walked away with a trophy this morning. Still, she’ll have to wait until tonight to see if she’ll be crowned the winner.

The final on Friday evening is approaching

The race for all of these divisions, as well as the historic 60th Mr. Olympia Prejudging, will take place later this evening at the Resorts World Theater.
