NEW LENOX, IL — A Joliet man is accused of using his cellphone to record women’s clothing at a New Lenox clothing store, police said.

On August 23, police were called to Ross, 475 E. Lincoln Highway, for a complaint of unauthorized filming after a woman told police she saw a man filming her dress with his phone.

The man, identified as 46-year-old Javier Jimenez-Bernal of Joliet, told police his phone “fell out of his hand and slid to the floor” under the woman’s dress, police reports say.
