Looking to redesign your living space? Here are nine home decor and furniture stores that have recently opened or are opening soon.

NEWLY OPEN

907 Koenigsstrasse, Alexandria

In addition to stores in Frederick, Leesburg and Middleburg, a location in Old Town opened in June. Inspired by French and Italian styles with some Southern influences, the offerings include bistro tables, patterned table linens and quirky decor like an absinthe fountain.

1260 5th Street, NE

Lovers of maximalist interiors can check out this shop in Union Market, whose shelves are filled with an eclectic mix of vintage home accessories and colorful glassware. If you want to add a sparkly touch to your space, check out the disco ball decor.

1830 Columbia Rd., NW

Formerly a 14th Street institution, the vintage furniture store has found a new home in Adams Morgan. As with the previous location, new items are added weekly—all purchased at auction. Browse the store for armoires, display cabinets, chairs, and more.

3304 M St., NW

Maybe you prefer a more minimalist look. This Italian furniture company opened a two-story showroom in Georgetown in June, featuring neutral Nordic-style furniture and Japanese-inspired designs.

3306 M St., NW

This 90-year-old Italian furniture brand opened a flagship store in Washington DC in March. It specializes in clean, architectural pieces with a modern aesthetic.

1301 4th Street, NE

The boutique recently moved out of its Union Market location and into a larger space down the street. The new location sells the same assortment of chic tableware and home accessories, as well as some furniture pieces.

1800 International Dr., McLean

The luxury furniture and fine textiles store moved into the former Crate & Barrel space in March. It is a one-stop shop for home goods, with an assortment that includes everything from outdoor fire pits to vanities. The store also offers interior design services.

COMING THIS YEAR

3340 Cady’s Alley, NW

The high-end Brazilian furniture brand is coming to Georgetown later this year. Look for custom wall systems and modern pieces for closets, bathrooms, kitchens and more.

4816 Bethesda Ave., Bethesda

This custom rug company will help you find the perfect mat for your space, tailored to the exact size you need. The retailer is opening a store in Bethesda this fall.
