Exciting times for MCU fans

If this ad in Production Weekly is to be believed, it seems that an iconic Marvel character is finally getting his own solo film.

The ad posted on Reddit states that Scarlet Witch will get her own solo film, set to be shot in 2026.

The next Marvel “hero” in the cinema is Venom with the last part of the trilogy

The ad appears to be genuine, and considering Elizabeth Olsen recently said she would return as Scarlet Witch as long as there is a story for her, this could make sense.

Of course, there isn’t much information other than that Kevin Feige is, as usual, producing and Jac Schaeffer is writing.

A brief description might present this adventure as a redemption for the character, since the last time we saw her she was in a fight with Doctor Strange.

The ad states: “Wanda Maximoff is exceptionally powerful and has fought both against and with the Avengers, seeking to hone her skills and do what she believes is right to help the world.”

MCU fans on Reddit are overjoyed. Elizabeth Olsen is undoubtedly one of the best actresses in Marvel films right now.

As JamesPlayzReviews3 says, “SHE’S ALIVE…which is really no surprise. There’s no way they’re killing the Scarlet Witch.”

Another Redditor is visibly pleased with the news: “Production Weekly wasn’t that wrong about Marvel. Wanda has skyrocketed in popularity. I’m glad Jac Shaffer is rumored to be a writer.”

While makashill_93 says: “A movie about Scarlet Witch’s redemption would be good. She’s an Avenger. Avengers deserve a movie.”

Since Wanda is one of the most powerful Avengers, it makes sense to bring her back to the heroes’ side, especially if they have to face Doom. Avengers: Secret Wars.

Let’s hope we get more news soon through an official confirmation from Marvel and Disney.
