The Roscoe Village Food Truck Festival returns this Saturday – WHIZ

Food Truck Festival

If you’re looking for a place with food vendors, food trucks, and live music this weekend, look no further than Historic Roscoe Village.

This Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Roscoe Village will be filled with over 20 businesses, from food trucks selling hot meals to food stands selling jams and jellies. There will be an open mic show followed by Randy Velez with Last Call rounding out the musical performances.

“We wanted to do an event here in the village that might have a little more modern feel, attract a different crowd than what we see with our apple butter stew, and food trucks are just fun. So we thought this would be an easy way to do that,” said Clarrisa Roof, Roscoe Villages special events coordinator.

The food truck festival takes place at the same time as the Coshocton Dog Fest, just up the road at Coshocton Lake Park. Roof says he was happy to coordinate the event with the other event and offer a free shuttle to take attendees to each event and back.

“I’m so glad we’re aligning with a new event because obviously this is only the second year we’ve done the Food Truck Festival, so I know what it’s like to have this event for the first year and want it to be a success, so I’m glad we can split our audience for the two events and send people back and forth to both,” Roof said.

The event is free to the public and more information can be found on the Roscoe Village websites. Local businesses in town will also be open during the festival.
