IU basketball features 7-foot-1 Class of 2025 international big man Fridrik Leo Curtis – The Daily Hoosier

Indiana continues to explore options in the 2025 class.

On Friday, they made an offer to 7-foot-1 international Fridrik Leo Curtis.

The Icelandic company reported on the IU offer on its social media pages.

Curtis attends the Cambridge Arts, Technology and Science (CATS) Academy in Massachusetts. He just came to the United States this fall to finish high school and then play college basketball. He’s already 19 and would be 20 when he arrives on college campuses next summer.

In the film, Curtis shows skill, with the ability to handle the ball and make threes. Here’s how he described his game to Phenom Hoops: “I would say I’m a versatile player who can shoot, dribble, finish and pass. I move pretty well and have a good feel for the game. I try to get the best read every time, whether it’s shooting a three-pointer, rolling, cutting, driving or passing to an open teammate. I think I can be present inside and out, rebound, block shots and make plays for my teammates to help the team win.”

He played professionally in Iceland this year and averaged 15.5 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.1 blocks while shooting 42.2% from three on 3.3 attempts per game.

Curtis also has reported offers from Stanford, Xavier, Alabama, Arizona State, UCF and West Virginia. He recently visited Arizona State.
