The Dodgers and New York Yankees are playing in the most star-studded World Series in Major League Baseball in decades.

This will likely be the first World Series with five MVPs: Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts of the Dodgers and Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton of the Yankees.

Ohtani and Judge are the likely MVPs this year, marking the first series since 2012 to feature both. This will be the first series with two 50-home run hitters in Judge and Ohtani.

This is only the fifth World Series since the wild card era began in 1995, featuring the teams with the best records in each league.
