Pregnant Gisele Bundchen steps out when it’s revealed she’s pregnant with Joaquim Valente

Gisele Bündchen was spotted in Miami on Monday, October 28 – the same day it was announced that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Joaquim Valente.

Bündchen, 44, was spotted walking her German Shepherd Alfie in Miami. She was wearing a black baseball cap, black T-shirt, dark gray shorts and white tennis shoes. Her baby bump doesn’t seem to be visible yet.

The supermodel is expecting her third child — her first with Valente, a jiu-jitsu instructor, a source close to Bündchen confirmed to PEOPLE on Monday. Bündchen and Valente, 37, have been together since June 2023.

“Gisele and Joaquim are excited about this new chapter in their lives and look forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the entire family,” the source said in a statement to PEOPLE.

The model, who was a Victoria’s Secret Angel for seven years, did not attend the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which took place on October 15. The show, which recently returned after a five-year hiatus, featured many Angels from years past.

Valente and Bündchen were spotted together for the first time, weeks after her divorce from former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady was finalized in November 2022. After months of denying their romance, a source close to the couple confirmed to PEOPLE in February 2024 that the supermodel and her trainer had been dating since June 2023.

Bündchen has two children with Brady – Benjamin Rein, 14, and Vivian Lake, 11. The couple were married for 13 years before divorcing in 2022. Brady and Bündchen agreed to share custody of their children.
