Florida-Georgia: What you need to know

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – EverBank Stadium and the Florida-Georgia game will once again take center stage on the college football landscape on Saturday when the Gators and Bulldogs face off at 3:30 p.m. on ABC.

  • Parking spaces open at 8 a.m. (map)
  • Open gates at 1:30 p.m. Fans can enter through ANY Goal.
  • SEC Nation goes to Jacksonville. The show will be broadcast live from Lot P in front of EverBank Stadium.
  • Don’t wait for the gate: For faster and more efficient gate access, fans should be prepared to add their mobile tickets to their digital wallet. This will significantly reduce the problems when entering the stadium.
  • Fans are encouraged to arrive and enter the stadium The gates open at 1:30 p.m. Fans may enter EverBank Stadium through any gate, regardless of seating assignment.
  • Kick-off is at 3:30 p.m

General information

EverBank Stadium officials will conduct bag checks and metal detectors will be placed at each entrance. Officials have the authority to inspect clothing and other items. Additionally, there is a strict clear bag policy. Further information can be found below.

Gates open at 1:30 p.m. and there is a strict ban on re-entry.

The stadium will feature two JTA refrigerated buses located across from Ramp 1 and at the end of Ramp 4, as well as water stations near both buses for fans to use during the game.

Cooling stations with water are available throughout the venue. One factory-sealed bottle of water 16.9 ounces or less is permitted per guest.

Parking and ride sharing information
Parking lots open at 8 a.m. and are expected to be full five hours before kickoff.

Guests using rideshare transportation after the game should plan to meet their rideshare driver on Beaver Street near Lot Z.


For the quickest and most convenient route, guests are asked to exit EverBank Stadium via Gate 1 or the Gallagher West Club gate. Please follow the pink signs. Please plan accordingly and be patient as rideshare drivers navigate post-event traffic to get to Beaver St.


Prior to the event, rideshare drop-off will take place on the west side of the stadium near the Veterans Memorial Wall.

SEC Nation in Jacksonville
SEC Nation airs live Saturday morning at 9 a.m. from Lot P in front of EverBank Stadium. Florida graduate Laura Rutledge will host the show in its eighth season, her ninth on the show overall, alongside Gator star Tim Tebow, Paul Finebaum, Jordan Rodgers and Roman Harper.

Gator Walk
The Florida soccer team is scheduled to arrive at Gate 1 of EverBank Stadium on Saturday. Fans are welcome to line up no later than 1:10 p.m. to cheer on the Gators as they arrive at the stadium.

Tailgating information
The City of Jacksonville will enforce its municipal code regarding underage drinking and the prohibition of alcoholic beverages on city sidewalks and streets. Tailgating is permitted in the parking lots and areas surrounding the stadium. However, once you leave the vicinity of your vehicle, the City of Jacksonville Police will enforce strict compliance with the ordinance.


Fans are reminded that the state of Florida prohibits open containers in cars during tailgating, except in locked glove compartments or locked trunks. Police will strictly enforce this law.

Secondary security zone and guest service locations
The Information and First Aid Zones are guest service locations established by the City of Jacksonville and UF Health to provide an area for residents, students and visitors visiting downtown Jacksonville before, during and after the New York City celebration Enjoy Florida-Georgia game day, find help. This includes basic medical assistance, first aid, information about transportation services, directions, water and more.



Punishment-free security zone
The information and first aid zones are all about making the Florida-Georgia trip as pleasant and safe as possible for everyone. Fans who seek help for themselves or their friends in the Zone will not be prosecuted for alcohol problems.

The Information and First Aid Zones presented by UF Health Jacksonville are located at the following locations:

  • Lot P – Veterans Memorial Wall (1145 E Adams Street)
  • Lot X – Entrance to Service Road, south of Gator Bowl Blvd., heading east.
  • Lot P – Babe Ruth Statue (Corner of Georgia St. & Duval St.)
  • Across from the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena, corner of A. Philip Randolph & Duval Street
  • Lot E – outside RV City (corner of Talleyrand & Gator Bowl Blvd.)

All information and first aid zones are open from 12:00 p.m. until 30 minutes after the game.

Safety tips

  • Stay in groups.
  • Stay in high traffic areas.
  • Choose a specific driver.
  • Take a photo of the spot where you park.
  • Take an Uber, Lyft, taxi or free trolley.

Bag regulations and prohibited items
Clear bag

In the interest of fan safety, EverBank Stadium will have clear bag policies in accordance with SEC and NFL guidelines. Fans are reminded that EverBank Stadium’s policies are consistent with UAA’s policies at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

Other prohibited items

  • All bags except a 4.5″ x 6.5″ or smaller clutch, wallet or clear bag no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″
  • Cameras with detachable lenses or lenses longer than six inches
  • Clothing with profane or obscene language/content
  • Coolers or containers, including cans or cups
  • Bottles and beverages from outside the stadium (except 1 factory-sealed plastic bottle of water of 16.9 ounces or less per ticket holder)
  • Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles
  • Inflatable boats, loungers and other swimming equipment
  • Knives, guns and any type of weapon (including original weapons, toy weapons or replicas) or explosives
  • Laser pointer
  • laptop computer
  • Noisemakers, whistles and air horns
  • Non-lethal weapons and chemical warfare agents (e.g. pepper spray, mace and Taser)
  • Pets (except service animals)
  • Seat cushion
  • Signs or banners larger than 2′ x 3′
  • Sticks or poles (including selfie sticks)
  • Strollers or baby seats
  • Tobacco products (cigarettes, e-cigarettes, chewing tobacco)
  • Umbrellas
  • Video recorders and tape recorders
  • Flying drones over and around EverBank Stadium is strictly prohibited during the game.

Mobile tickets

To increase security, reduce the risk of ticket fraud and improve fan convenience, all Florida Gators sporting event tickets are blocked mobile and can be completed through the Florida Gators app or at FloridaGators.com/myaccount.

  • Download the Florida Gators app (App Store | Google Pay).
  • Don’t wait until the gate: For faster and more efficient gate access, log in to your ticket account and add your tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay account. This will significantly reduce the problems when entering the stadium. (Find out how)
  • Screenshots of tickets are not accepted.

For fans requiring assistance, the ticket office opens at 12pm – three and a half hours before kick-off – and is located at the north end of the stadium, near Gate 2.

Fans can take center stage as Florida’s outstanding personalities at this year’s Florida-Georgia Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Luncheon, presented by Miller Electric Company Mike Peterson and Fred Weary will be inducted into the Florida-Georgia Hall of Fame.
