Airport: Man arrested for making fake bomb threat at Asr airport | News from Chandigarh

Man “threatens” bomb attack on Asr airport, arrested

Amritsar: Amritsar Police in Punjab have arrested a man who Joke email to the authorities of Sri Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport to detonate bombs.

Amritsar Police Commissioner Ranjit Singh Dhillon said on Sunday that police had arrested the person and launched an investigation.
According to sources, Gurdev Singh, a resident of Ferozepur, sent an email to the airport authorities demanding Rs 10 million and threatening to detonate six bombs placed at the airport if the money was not paid.
