Nationwide — Anitra West, an employee at Church’s Chicken in Orange Mound, Tennessee, was tragically shot while working at the restaurant. Police say she died after a heated argument with a customer over a food order.

Shortly afterward, a gunshot was heard and surveillance video showed Williams’ car speeding away. West was found outside the restaurant and taken to Regional One Hospital, where she later died.

Lorenzo West Jr., Anitra’s ex-husband, expressed his sadness and frustration. He recently contacted Anitra to discuss reconciliation, he told WREG.
