Police: Wanted suspects identified in Walmart robbery in Southington

SOUTHINGTON, CT — Two suspects wanted in connection with a local Walmart robbery earlier this month have been identified and will soon be charged.

According to Southington police over the weekend, the male and female suspects “have been identified and an arrest warrant will be filed in New Britain Superior Court.”

According to police, the suspects stole merchandise valued at approximately $474 from Walmart at 235 Queen Street in Southington at approximately 7:05 p.m. on Thursday, August 8.

The SPD said the individuals were seen driving away in a U-Haul rental car with an Arizona license plate.

“The Southington Police Department would like to once again thank the valuable members of our community for their routine participation and assistance in investigations of this nature,” the SPD wrote on Sunday, August 18.
