We recently looked at the worst supermarket chains in America and picked the ten worst. And of the ten worst, three are based in Michigan.

To find the best of the best, the folks at Solitaired looked at Google reviews of 30 of the largest national grocery chains. What they found was a stark contrast between the best and worst grocery stores.

When it comes to the top ten grocery store chains in the United States, three of them are based in Michigan, and two of them take the top two spots!

Here’s where these three stores land in the top ten list.

ALDI

With an average star rating of 4,439 stars, ALDI remains firmly in ninth place out of ten.

Costco

Costco ranks second with an average rating of 4.6 stars.

Trader Joe’s

Trader Joe’s holds the number one spot with an average star rating of 4,638. And luckily for Lansing residents, we just got one in East Lansing!
