What is the largest liquor store in Kentucky?

What is the largest liquor store in Kentucky?

By most estimates, it’s the largest liquor store in Kentucky. It also has a national title to its name. It’s the largest draft beer store in the entire United States. I’d never heard of The Party Source until my friend Jacob Kiper of ComingWhiskey.com brought it to my attention. The massive store is located in Bellevue, Kentucky – just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio – and is a favorite among bourbon, beer, and wine lovers.

The store is huge! It’s about 5,570 square feet. Jacob has been there a few times and has a suggestion for those of you who want to visit. He says you should check out the range online first. The website gives you the option to shop by type, country and brand. You can see what the store has in stock, read all about the brands you’re interested in and even see some sample recipes you can make with your purchases.

The website is just as extensive as the store. The store is huge, by the way! Whiskey Weather recently took a tour.

Whiskey Weather’s video reflected what Jacob told me about the store: “It’s not really pretty on the outside.” But on the inside, it’s impressive, with its branding, its inventory, and its almost overwhelming size.

The Party Source is conveniently located in the parking lot of a relatively new distillery – New Riff Distillery – and the two companies have an interesting history together.

New Riff was founded in 2014 by Ken Lewis. Ken was the original owner and founder of The Party Source. However, because Kentucky state law prohibits the possession and sale of alcohol, Ken had to sell his liquor store to start New Riff. So The Party Source is owned by about 70 of its employees.

So if you’re a fan of these “spirits,” New Riff and The Party Source are a must-see (and try) road trip destination.

The Party Source is located at 95 Riviera Drive in Bellevue, Kentucky.

LOOK: The best beers from every state

To find the best beer in each state and Washington DC, Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that collects user reviews of beer in real time. BeerAdvocate makes its decisions by compiling consumer reviews for all 50 states and Washington DC and assigning a weighted ranking to each. The weighted ranking pulls beer toward the average of the list based on the number of reviews and aims to allow lesser-known beers to rise in the rank. Only beers with at least 10 reviews are considered; we went a step further and only included beers with at least 100 user reviews in our gallery. Read on to find out which is the best beer in each of the 50 states and Washington DC
