Report: Odyssey Jones no longer on WWE TV due to domestic violence allegations

There were more questions than answers when Odyssey Jones was removed from WWE.com’s roster page over the weekend. Over time, it became clear that this was not a “glitch” or technical/editorial error on WWE’s part. Jones then stopped appearing and his name was not mentioned again. Raw last night (September 2) for the second time in a row, even though he was on a show with The New Day just three Mondays ago.

After yesterday’s show, Dave Meltzer spoke about Jones’ status on Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer had not received confirmation from WWE sources, but said he was “relatively” sure that Jones (real name Omari Palmer) was “done” and “gone” from the company.

Recently this afternoon, Sean Ross Sapp posted the following update on X/Twitter:

As Fightful has learned, Odyssey Jones was removed from WWE television when allegations of domestic violence came to light.

We have not heard of an arrest or charges being filed in connection with the situation. We have reached out to WWE for comment and clarification on his status. The talent has not been informed of the situation.

In a separate Fightful Select post today, Sapp wrote that Jones has been in the last two Raw Records and is not included in WWE’s “immediate creative plans.”

More as soon as we have it.

UPDATE: To Wrestling Observer LiveBryan Alvarez said he was “told Odyssey Jones was fired.” Alvarez referenced Fightful’s report on domestic violence allegations but did not confirm them himself.
