According to Plouffe, Harris could win all seven swing states

David Plouffe, a senior adviser to Vice President Harris’ campaign, suggested Monday that the Democratic nominee could win all seven swing states.

“And you know, just a few hours ago, when we went through all the early voting data, what we’re forecasting for Election Day and how we think the undecideds are breaking down, we found a credible path to all seven states tomorrow night to get to Kamala Harris’ column,” Plouffe told CNN’s Erin Burnett on “OutFront.”

“But we believe they will all be close,” he said.

Then Burnett asked Plouffe, “But do you think you could win all seven?”

“Yes,” he replied.

Harris and former President Trump are eyeing seven battleground states that could decide the election: Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan and Nevada.

On Election Day, The Hill/Decision Desk HQ (DDHQ) national polling average shows Trump and Vice President Harris tied at 48.4 percent support nationally.

In Michigan, Harris has a slight lead over her Republican rival — 48.7 percent to 48.3 percent, the DDHQ average shows. However, Trump is higher by 2.6 points in Arizona, 1.7 points higher in Georgia and Nevada, 1.5 points higher in North Carolina, almost 1 point higher in Pennsylvania and almost half a point higher in Wisconsin.

Burnett noted recent comments from Nevada political expert Jon Ralston, who predicted Harris would win the Silver State. She then asked Plouffe: “You say you think you can win all seven, but do you share that optimism specifically about Nevada?”

“We liked what we saw. I mean, listen, what I think is largely – overstated in some analysis, in the reporting, in the cheerleading: “Hey, there are a lot more Republicans voting early than in 2020.” Yes, of course. “Trump told them not to vote early in 1920, which is truly epic political malfeasance,” he responded.

The Hill has reached out to the Trump campaign for comment.
