Alex found the cutest fall decoration at Home Depot

Fall is just around the corner! Anyone who loves the changing of the seasons knows it’s never too early to start decorating. In fact, you could even say it’s never too early to decorate for Halloween, since Summerween is all the rage. Hello August!

Another sign that it’s totally OK to get in the spooky spirit is that there are tons of Halloween decorations already in stores and like-minded decorators are already gearing up. That includes Alex Drummond! She and her husband Mauricio Scott just purchased a new Halloween golden retriever decoration and “it’s perfect 🎃.”

Okay, so the humans think it’s the cutest thing you’ll see this season. George the Floof, on the other hand, is still a little skeptical. “He’s so unsure,” Alex explains as he examines his new stoic friend. And then when he realizes it glows too? Well, let’s just say he needs a little protection from his dog dad.

“Maurcio never does impulse buys, but this one was justified,” Alex notes with a laugh. They bought it at Home Depot, the same place they bought George’s Christmas twin last year. And like the Santa Retriever, the Halloween version (Howl-oween?) stands about 30 inches tall and can be placed indoors or outdoors with an on/off switch for the lights.

While it’s not currently found on the Home Depot website, it can be purchased in-store. There are also very similar options at retailers like Walmart and Amazon, so if you don’t want to go to the store because you have a fluffy one on your lap, you can shop the following online options.
