Apple AirTags are on offer at Amazon

Apple AirTags are on offer at Amazon

Sun worshippers don’t have much positive to say about the approaching fall, but most would agree that Labor Day deals help sweeten the transition a little. If you like to shop, we found an early Labor Day sale on the traveler-favorite Apple AirTags; that’s a good deal to take your mind off the looming end of summer.

At Amazon, the popular four-pack of luggage trackers is 19 percent off and costs $20 a piece, which is a steal considering a single device normally costs $27. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that reviewers say the peace of mind they offer is worth every penny. You’ll want to hurry and add this pack to your cart before it’s gone—you never know when Apple deals will disappear!

One of Travel + Leisure‘s top-rated luggage trackers, Apple AirTags, get high marks for their small size and compatibility. These quarter-sized devices work by sending signals over Bluetooth to nearby users within the Find My network. If your bag is missing, you can mark your AirTag as lost, which lets you send a message and your contact information to Apple users who come near it. You can also track your AirTag remotely through the Find My app, which helps travelers keep track of their checked luggage during flights.

“We purchased two AirTags for our vacation. We packed them in our checked luggage and were so glad we did,” wrote one reviewer. They were on a cruise, but their luggage didn’t arrive on the ship. “No one seemed to be able to tell us where our luggage was, but we knew… we could keep the airline and ship updated.”

More than 7,000 Amazon shoppers have given the single AirTag and this four-pack five stars. Aside from luggage tracking, they’re useful for anything you don’t want to lose while traveling: handbags, wallets, laptop bags, the jacket you hang over the back of a chair at a bar, or even your car in case it gets stolen or you simply forget where you parked it.

Compared to other Bluetooth trackers, many reviewers say AirTags are more accurate. “I like that it tells me exactly how many feet away the AirTag is and in which direction,” one person wrote. “I have one attached to my pet’s collar and the precision tracking feature is particularly impressive, it easily leads me right to my pet,” another shopper said. The devices are especially accurate in high-traffic areas where many Apple users travel (unlike many other trackers that lack precision in busy places).

With a pack of four, you can pack a few in your suitcase and use the others at home, where they attach to your keys, TV remote, or whatever else you misplace. And get ready for easier travel this fall, with even more deals on travel tech accessories early Labor Day weekend, below.
