Arizona Cardinals K Matt Prater inactive against Packers

Cardinals kicker Matt Prater is officially inactive for Arizona’s Week 6 game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

After missing last Sunday’s game due to a left knee injury, he will be unable to practice for the second week in a row.

The news comes after the Cardinals promoted kicker Chad Ryland on Saturday. Ryland filled in for Prater last week and hit the game-winning pitch from 35 yards out for a 24-23 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

Other inactive Arizona players include linebackers Victor Dimukeje and Xavier Thomas, cornerback Darren Hall and tight end Travis Vokolek.

They join defensive lineman Darius Robinson and wide receiver Zay Jones, who sat out Friday.

The Packers have safety Kitan Oladapo, tight end John FitzPatrick, defensive linemen Brenton Cox Jr. and Devonte Wyatt, and offensive tackles Andre Dillard and Travis Glover inactive.

Who is active for the Cardinals-Packers?

While Prater will be out, cornerback Garrett Williams (groin) and offensive tackles Kelvin Beachum (hamstring) and Christian Jones (ankle) are active for Sunday’s game.

Rookie wide receiver Xavier Weaver will make his first appearance this season.

Cornerback Jaire Alexander, wide receiver Christian Watson and offensive tackle Rasheed Walker are active for the Packers.

The Cardinals take on the Packers at 10:00 a.m. AZT. Catch all the action on the Arizona Sports app, 98.7 and ArizonaSports.com
