The second kicker to make the countdown of the best players with his respective number, Toni Fritsch, spent four seasons with the Cowboys in the 1970s.

Fritsch’s best year was 1979 with the Houston Oilers, where he earned All-Pro honors and was nominated for the Pro Bowl, but his breakthrough came with the Cowboys.

At a time when football was not yet the science it is today, Fritsch made a name for himself and shaped the number 15 in Dallas.
