Boston wants to turn the page

The Bruins have had a difficult first month of the season and will be hoping to turn things around in the first game of the new month.

Boston suffered a brutal 8-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Halloween night at the Lenovo Center. Jim Montgomery continues to try to find answers to get the Black and Gold back to the form they expect. Alternate captain David Pastrnak supported his head coach and hoped he and his teammates could overcome the crisis.

The Bruins didn’t hold a morning skate on Friday, so it’s not clear if they’ll field the same lineup as Thursday night. Saturday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers is the first of back-to-back games for the Black and Gold. They will play the Seattle Kraken on Sunday at TD Garden, where they will also celebrate longtime voice actor Jack Edwards.

Puck drop for Saturday’s matchup between the Bruins and Flyers at the Wells Fargo Center is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET, and you can catch full coverage an hour before the game on NESN.

Here are the projected lines and defensive pairings for Boston and Philadelphia.
