Burger King gives away free cheeseburgers on National Cheeseburger Day

Burger King – home of the flame-grilled Whopper – is celebrating National Cheeseburger Day in the best way possible.

On Wednesday, September 18, Burger King is offering Royal Perks members a free cheeseburger with any purchase of one dollar or more, according to a press release.

The American fast food restaurant has planned a number of other offers for the days before and after National Cheeseburger Day, i.e. from Monday, September 16th to Sunday, September 22nd.

“While a free cheeseburger is always great, Burger King is also offering Royal Perks deals for an entire week,” the company said in a press release.

According to Burger King, all of these Royal Perk offers are available with a purchase of $1 or more.

The fast-food chain’s latest giveaways come after the company ushered in summer – and celebrated 70 years of overwhelming success – by offering customers a variety of free gifts with a $0.70 purchase between May 28 and June 3.

BK celebrated daylight saving time in March by giving guests free breakfast for an entire week, with a different food or drink offered each day of the week for members of the rewards program. And in April, the chain handed out free Whoppers in honor of the historic total solar eclipse.
