“College GameDay” 2024, Week 2: Texas at Michigan

“College GameDay Built by The Home Depot” comes to Ann Arbor, Michigan, on Saturday to take on Texas and Michigan. The first pregame show will be hosted by Rece Davis and will include Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Nick Saban, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Pete Thamel and reporters Jen Lada and Jess Sims. It will air from 9 a.m. to noon ET on ESPN and ESPNU.

Where to go

College GameDay will take place at Ferry Field in Ann Arbor. The arena opens at 6:30 a.m. ET and fans can start lining up early. There will be a free breakfast for the first 200 fans and exclusive t-shirts for the first 750 fans.

Why we’re happy for Texas in Michigan

  • This will be the second meeting between the two teams.

  • Michigan has a 23-game winning streak at Michigan Stadium.

  • Texas won the first meeting with Michigan in 2005 with 38-37.

The last time Texas and Michigan were on CGD

Texas lost to Oklahoma in its last College GameDay appearance in 2023. The last College GameDay visited Ann Arbor in 2023, where Michigan defeated Ohio State.
