Daytime highs on Saturday will remain in the upper 50s under mostly cloudy skies. Scattered showers are possible across the Front Range through early afternoon. The majority of the rain and snow will remain in southern Colorado. The heaviest snow is expected to fall above 10,000 feet in the San Juan Mountains, where a winter storm warning is in effect until midday Sunday. The San Juans could see an additional accumulation of 6 to 12 inches by Sunday afternoon. A winter weather advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. Saturday for the Eastern Sawatch Mountains, the Wet Mountains and Pikes Peak, where an additional 3 to 6 inches with locally higher amounts of snow is possible. Travel over the highest mountain passes may be impacted tonight through Sunday morning, primarily from I-70 south above 10,000 feet.

As the low pressure system moves through Colorado on Sunday, it will be windy at times with wind gusts up to 25 miles per hour. There is a slight risk of isolated showers in urban areas. Daytime highs will be warmer on Sunday, with temperatures in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Next week temperatures will remain in the 70s with mostly sunny and dry conditions.
