Coroner identifies Mountain View man killed in mobile home fire

The person who died in a trailer fire in Mountain View on Saturday morning has been identified by the Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office.

The resident was identified as Erikh Nudelman, 86, of Mountain View. The cause of death was not determined Wednesday morning, according to the coroner’s office.

The fire broke out in the trailer park at Moffett Mobile Home Park early on the morning of Aug. 17. Firefighters entered the burning home and found a person, later identified as Nudelman, inside who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a statement from the Mountain View Fire Department.

The house was destroyed by the fire, but the fire department was able to prevent it from spreading to neighboring houses. The cause of the fire is still being investigated, the statement said.
