Could former Browns running back Kareem Hunt return to the Kansas City Chiefs?

Cleveland Browns fans hoping the team will extend free agent running back Kareem Hunt may need to realize that another team could be interested in Hunt.

Hunt’s career began in 2017 with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he made the Pro Bowl and was the NFL’s all-time rushing yard player. His off-field issues led the Chiefs to release him in 2018. Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt made it clear that this was the end for Hunt with the Chiefs due to his off-field behavior.

The Browns signed him in 2019. He played for his hometown team until 2023.

With Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco likely to be placed on the injured list due to a broken fibula, fans are wondering if the Chiefs will work with Hunt again.

Some believe the bridge between the two parties has been sufficiently burned, but others believe enough time has passed for the Chiefs to invite him to a workout. He may not be quite the powerhouse he was seven years ago, but he could still contribute to a team whose offense he knows. He can pick up the nuances that have changed pretty quickly.

Do you think the Chiefs will call Kareem Hunt?
