Early Voting – What You Should Know

  • election day is Tuesday, November 5th; Polls in Texas are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can vote if you stand in line by 7 p.m. on election day.

  • The last day to request an absentee ballot is Friday, October 25th.

Early voting for the November 5th general election begins Monday, October 21st and continues for two weeks through Friday, November 1st.

In Dallas County, early voting occurs on the following schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 21st – 25th October, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m
  • Saturday, October 26th, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m
  • Sunday, October 27th, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m
  • Monday to Friday, October 28th – November 1st, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m

Dallas County is part of Texas’ Countywide Polling Place Program, meaning voters registered in Dallas County can vote at any polling place in the county.

DALLAS COUNTY EARLY VOTING LOCATIONS

If you cannot vote early, Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th. Polling stations are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and anyone in line by 7 p.m. can vote.
