Blink and you’ll miss it

Deadpool and Wolverine is full of cameos and Marvel has recently been promoting the many actors who have appeared in the blockbuster.

Besides several obvious cameos that stay on screen for a while – Blade, Elektra, Gambit, and Chris Evans as Johnny Blaze – there is one very special cameo that could very easily be missed.

Star Wars Outlaws coming very soon and we are very excited to play more

During the big fight scene near the end of the film, where Deadpool and Wolverine charge down a street and fight an army of Deadpools, a very familiar face can be seen.

At one point, the two heroes move through a bus to take out some Deadpool variants, and there is a meter on the side of the bus.

A legendary face smiles at us and of course it is the wonderful Stan Lee.

Stan Lee is known for his numerous cameo appearances in Marvel films and television series – he made 38 cameo appearances until his death in 2018.

Lee is known for creating many of the Marvel characters we know and love, and his appearance in the latest blockbuster just made sense.

Deadpool and Wolverine revels in historic moments from the Marvel comics and films. The fact that Stan Lee appears in some form is another honor for the legendary creator.

Although Stan Lee was not the creator of Deadpool, Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza were, many would say that without Lee, the Marvel genre we know would not exist.

His work, especially with Steve Ditko, laid the foundation for Marvel Comics years before Marvel even had the idea of creating the MCU.

We hope Lee and other creators continue to appear in the MCU in some form, because their praise is well deserved. Their work has changed entertainment as we know it.

Marvel is now a multimedia superpower and has millions of fans around the world.
