Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill on his name being mentioned in trade rumors: ‘I love being here’

Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill on his name being mentioned in trade rumors: ‘I love being here’

Like Adams and Johnson, Hill is on his current roster after arriving via trade.

He was traded from the Kansas City Chiefs to the Dolphins before the 2022 season. Hill responded with Pro Bowl seasons in each of his previous campaigns for Miami. However, the Chiefs have won two straight Super Bowls since the key player left Kansas City, and the Dolphins have only had cameo appearances in the opening round of the playoffs.

Hill secured a raise this summer and has gotten off to a rocky start.

The Dolphins are off to a 1-3 start in which they have yet to gain a lead in four games. Hill, meanwhile, has been slowed to 17 receptions for 217 yards and a touchdown so far. To put these numbers into context, Hill has surpassed 200 yards rushing in a single game three times throughout his career.

Still, he expressed no signs that he would be in a rush to leave Miami, although he is well aware of how the NFL works sometimes.

“We have a great situation here, my family loves it, I enjoy it, the weather is great, the fans are great,” he said. “So we have a beautiful situation here, man. Obviously my parents always taught me to control the things that are controllable. I can only control so much. That being said, we all know the NFL is a business. Whatever happens, happens.’ In the future I would love to be here – I love being here, I love the boys.
