Doug Pederson of the Jaguars makes non-committal comments on Trevor Lawrence after the loss to the Bills: “Everything is on the table”

As the winds of change blow, everything is on the table when it comes to troubleshooting Jacksonville Jaguars Problems – maybe even a change at the quarterback position.

After a devastating defeat against the Buffalo Bills During prime time on Monday night, head coach Doug Pederson was noncommittal about whether these changes could impact fourth-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

“There have to be changes, whether it’s game design, personnel, everything,” Pederson told reporters after the 47-10 loss, via ESPN. “Everything is on the table, let’s put it that way, and those are all things that I have to look at, that we have to look at as a team and make adjustments.”

When asked if these changes affect the starting lineup, including Lawrence, Pederson did not appear to provide any details.

“They say anything is possible, but we also have to look at the injury situation,” he said. “There were a few injured tonight. That could be changed. It could be down to performance. Those are all things we have to evaluate as we move forward.”

A re-evaluation of the overall situation is certainly necessary. The Jags have averaged the third fewest points in the league through Week 3, just 13.3 points, which is also a franchise low since 2013. The defense isn’t much better, giving up 361 yards per game with no turnovers and just five sacks.

To make matters worse, the Jaguars will face the Houston Texanstheir rival in the AFC South, is coming off a short week in which they could suffer a 4-0 loss for the sixth time in franchise history.

On Tuesday, Pederson spoke to the media and was asked about his own job security. He said those conversations were confidential, but added that owner Shad Khan has been “very supportive” of his efforts to get things right.
