Dynasty Rookie Report Card: Xavier Worthy and Bucky Irving

Dynasty Rookie Report Card: Xavier Worthy and Bucky Irving

During the 2024 NFL season, I will cover two rookies each week in the Rookie Report Card and generally write about that week’s standout players. I discuss how well he has met expectations at the NFL level and then evaluate the player in three categories: past performance, rookie season potential and long-term potential.

Xavier Worthy, WR KC

Week 4 stats: Three receptions on four targets for 73 yards and a touchdown.

With 15 goals in four games, Worthy has been relatively consistent in his performance so far. He appeared to be locked in as the Chiefs’ WR2 from day one, but the loss of Rashee Rice should catapult him into the role of the team’s best receiver going forward. With Rice out of action at the start of Week 4, Worthy played his highest snap percentage of the season, resulting in the highest yardage total of his young career and his second receiving touchdown. He is now Kansas City’s WR1.
