El Paso wholesale store celebrates a decade of community and customer service

A second-hand clothing wholesaler in El Paso celebrated its tenth anniversary with its customers and employees.

MasTex celebrated its 10th anniversary Thursday at its headquarters at 1704 Delta Drive in south-central El Paso.

From 12pm to 2pm, MasTex offered free food, live music, prizes and an awards ceremony to honor employees who have been loyal to the company for many years.

MasTex founder David Kaufmann thanked his long-time employees in a written statement and said:

This was truly a team effort. I’m proud to say that many of our employees who started with us ten years ago are still with us today. Their dedication, hard work and loyalty are the backbone of our success. Together with our loyal customers who have also been with us since the beginning, we celebrate a decade of serving our community! Being a part of our customers’ growth has made our journey remarkable. Thank you to our incredible team! Thank you to the unwavering support of our community. Thank you to all of the customers who trust us to serve you and build with you! We remain committed to the success of retailers in and around our border city of El Paso and as many as we can reach and serve.

KFOX14/CBS4 spoke with operations manager Daniela Gallardo, who emphasized that MasTex supports the local economy by hiring locals and selling to border companies.
