Fans are all saying the same thing about Heidi Klum’s 2024 Halloween costume

Heidi Klum’s Halloween costume this year has all of her fans saying the same thing – that Janelle Monáe did it first.

After the queen of Halloween revealed the hyper-realistic ET costumes for herself and husband Tom Kaulitz, her fans responded with reactions on social media.

Many fans pointed out that Monáe, 38, debuted a costume to ET the day before Klum unveiled her own look at her annual Halloween party in New York City on Oct. 31.

Some social media users took to X, formerly Twitter, to say that Klum “stole” Monáe’s look.

Others suggested that the model must have been “upset” or “angry” when she realized that someone else had “done it first,” even though she had already put almost a year into her ET costume.

Just earlier in the day, Monae revealed her ET costume while appearing on The Jennifer Hudson Show.

Although Monae’s costume featured less prosthetics and was more like a pull-on suit and mask, many fans were confused that they had the exact same idea.

Last year, fans also joked that Monáe outshone Klum by dressing up as a chameleon in an incredible full-body transformation, after turning heads with her looks in previous years.

In 2023, Klum hired nine acrobats to help her create a giant peacock costume.

This year, a fan tweeted a meme of a distressed woman and wrote, “What do you mean Heidi Klum and Janelle Monae dressed up the same way for Halloween?”

Another person wrote, “Heidi Klum sees Janelle Monae in her costume hours before she shows up…” alongside a brooding GIF.

“Janelle Monae reveals her ET costume a day earlier,” another tweet said. “Ooh, Heidi must have been angry.”

While other fans said Monae “won” Halloween with her costume. “Does Janelle Monae know about this,” one X user tweeted.

Another user reiterated that Monae had already dressed up as ET, but said Klum’s costume was “cool.”

This came right after Klum made her debut at her soirée and looked unrecognizable as she transformed into the Halloween couple costume with her husband, ET.

She made her grand entrance at her famous annual Halloween soirée alongside the 35-year-old musician, who was dressed as an alien from the 1982 cult classic ET: The Extra-Terrestrial.

The couple transformed into ET from Steven Spielberg’s film before and after landing on Earth, disguised by young children Elliot and Gertie.

She proved that the Queen of Halloween crown is still hers as she walked the red carpet at her party, held at the Hard Rock Hotel in New York City.

Now in her 23rd year, she has attempted the monumental feat of surpassing her countless incredible costumes from many Halloweens past.

Some of her most memorable and recent looks include her hyper-realistic slithering worm look in 2022 and her transformation into a stunning peacock in 2023 with the help of nine acrobats dressed as her claws and feathers.
