FENDER opens its own certified used goods shop on Reverb

Fender has partnered with Reverb to launch Fender’s first Certified Pre-Owned program. This basically means you can buy loads of used Fender gear from Reverb, only now it’s certified by Fender themselves, with the added benefit of warranties and easy returns.

“We are excited to offer Fender Certified Pre-Owned guitars directly on Reverb for the first time. Used guitars have long been popular with players, especially new players and collectors. Fender Certified Pre-Owned gives players of all levels the opportunity to own a quality instrument at an affordable price,” said Fender CEO Andy Mooney.

“Fender Certified Pre-Owned guitars not only offer fantastic value for money – allowing players to purchase an instrument that has been professionally inspected, supported by Fender and sold at a discount – but also the opportunity to support a more sustainable guitar industry by giving instruments a second, third or fourth life and participating in the circular economy.”

Legendary Fender player Nile Rodgers added: “Over the years, I’ve bought many of my best creative tools from other musicians and on the secondary market. In fact, The Hitmaker came from a pawn shop in 1973. These guitars have stories and a past that just make them special,” said . “The fact that you can now buy used Fender guitars means you get the character and affordability of used gear, plus the Fender seal of approval.”

The official Fender Certified Pre-Owned Reverb Shop offers unique pre-owned electric guitars, acoustic guitars and basses, with new instruments added weekly. All guitars come with a one-year limited warranty from Fender and have been professionally inspected and refurbished where necessary by Fender’s sustainability partner MIRC.
