“To determine the overall healthiest cities in the U.S., WalletHub compared 182 cities – including the 150 most populous cities in the U.S. and at least two of the most populous cities in each state – on four key dimensions: 1) healthcare, 2) nutrition, 3) fitness, and 4) green space. Our sample only considers the city itself and excludes cities in the surrounding metropolitan area. We evaluated the four dimensions on 41 relevant metrics, listed below with their corresponding weights. Each metric was rated on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the most favorable conditions for a healthy lifestyle.”
