Free PlayStation credit now available when you play any of these games

It’s always nice to save money when we can buy a video game we’ve been waiting for, whether we play it on PC, PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo.

However, if you play on PlayStation, you may be familiar with a rewards program called PlayStation Stars. In short, Sony’s PS Stars rewards you with points for completing simple campaigns.

You can earn points by playing select video games (which are often linked to new PlayStation Plus additions), by winning certain in-game trophies, or simply by making purchases on the PS Store.

It may take a while to build up enough points, but with a little persistence and patience, you’ll eventually be able to purchase selected video games for free through the PlayStation mobile app, or claim £5 or £20 in free credit.

Sony recently launched the latest PS Stars campaigns, one of which is called “Your monthly PlayStation Plus games await you,” and rewards you with 50 points just for booting up. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach or Ender Lilies: Quietus the Knight.

An outstanding game from the above selection is LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and as cliche as it may sound, it really is fun for all ages and I highly recommend trying it out with or without a PS Plus subscription.

There is also another campaign called “PS Plus Game Catalogue: more to explore” and you get another 50 points by Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20th Anniversary Celebration, LEGO Worlds, Journey to the Wild Planet: Employee of the Month or Mortal Shell.

Most campaigns are time-sensitive, so it’s worth completing them as soon as possible before you miss out on the chance to win free PlayStation Store credit.
