BAODING, Aug. 23 (Xinhua) — Construction of Fuping and Tangxian stations on the Xiong’an-Xinzhou high-speed railway started on Friday.

With a planned speed of 350 kilometers per hour and a length of 342 kilometers, the Xiong’an-Xinzhou high-speed railway will, once completed, connect the Xiong’an New Area in northern China’s Hebei Province and the city of Xinzhou in northern China’s Shanxi Province.
