Vice President Kamala Harris doubled down on her comparison of former President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler, saying in a CNN town hall that she thinks Trump is a “fascist.”

“Yes I do, yes I do,” Harris told host Anderson Cooper when asked if she thought Trump was a “fascist.”

Harris attended a CNN town hall event on Wednesday evening, speaking to voters in Pennsylvania outside Philadelphia. The town hall event began at 9 p.m. Wednesday in Chester Township, which is less than 20 miles outside of Philadelphia.

Cooper asked Harris about her social media post on Wednesday in which she compared Trump to Adolf Hitler at the start of the debate. Harris reiterated that she thinks Trump is “unstable,” but did not directly compare him to Hitler.

JIMMY KIMMEL WAS NOT “MENTALLY PREPARED” FOR KAMALA HARRIS TO POTENTIALLY LOSE THE ELECTION

“I believe that Donald Trump is unstable, increasingly unstable and unfit for office. And I don’t necessarily think that everyone has heard what you and I have heard repeatedly, which is the people who know Donald Trump best, the people who worked with him in the White House, in the Situation Room, in the Oval Office, by the way, every Republican who served in his administration, his former chief of staff, his national security adviser, his former defense secretary and his vice president all called him unfit and dangerous,” Harris said.

Harris said earlier Wednesday on X that “Trump is seeking unchecked power” and is similar to the Nazi Germany dictator.

“He wants a military like Adolf Hitler, loyal to him, not our constitution,” Harris posted. “He is unhinged, unstable and given a second term there would be no one to stop him from acting on his worst impulses.”

Harris went on during the town hall to reference John Kelly, Trump’s former White House chief of staff, who claimed to the media on Tuesday that Trump wanted “Hitler’s generals.”

FAR FEWER NEWSPAPERS SUPPORT HARRIS THAN CLINTON OR BIDEN

“And then today we learned that John Kelly, a four-star general in the Marines and his longest-serving chief of staff, gave an interview recently, in the last two weeks of this election, in which he talked about how dangerous Donald Trump is. And I think.” You have to think about why someone who served with him, who isn’t a politician, a four-star Marine general, why he’s now telling the American people. And frankly, I think he’s just putting out an emergency call to the American people: understand what could happen if Donald Trump were back in the White House,” she said.

Harris and Kelly’s comments come after Trump faced two assassination attempts amid heated rhetoric this election cycle.

Trump responded to Harris and Kelly’s comments on his social media page Truth Social, saying Kelly had “made up a story of pure hatred against Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

“Thank you for your support against a complete degenerate John Kelly who made up a story out of pure hatred against Trump Derangement Syndrome! This guy had two characteristics that didn’t mix well. He was tough and stupid. The problem is “his toughness turned into weakness because over time he became JELLO!” he posted.

“The story about the soldiers was A LIE, as were numerous other stories he told. Even though I shouldn’t waste my time on him, I always feel like it’s necessary to fight back to find THE TRUTH. John Kelly is a LOWLIFE, and a bad general, whose advice I stopped seeking in the White House and told him to move on! Good on you. I said, “Thank you!”
