With Election Day just around the corner, Americans are anxiously awaiting who will become the country’s 47th president and the outcome of several other elections.

In a deeply divided nation, the election is a real contest between Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican former President Donald Trump.

In Texas, Ted Cruz is trying to keep his Senate seat despite a challenge from Congressman Colin Allred of Dallas.

If you’re making election night plans, FOX 4 is the place for you to watch real-time election results, get breaking news alerts and follow live on-site coverage from Texas and across the country.

How to track election results

The map above shows presidential, congressional, and gubernatorial election results in the United States.

Results will not be announced until polls close on the East Coast at 6:00 p.m. CT.

The first results for Texas are expected to be available shortly after 7 p.m. CT.

Here’s how to follow live election night coverage

Stream live election night coverage with FOX 7 Austin starting at 5:00 p.m. CT.

We will be broadcasting live throughout the night on FOX 7 and FOX LOCAL.

From 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. there will be special local election coverage with Rudy Koski and Jon Krinjak as the first results come in in Texas.
