Richard Goodall is about to return to the stage of America’s Got Talent.

The janitor from Terre Haute, Indiana, has won hearts across the country and hopes to win the grand prize on NBC’s reality competition show later this month.

On his audition episode in May, Goodall sang a cover of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'” that wowed the audience and convinced judge Heidi Klum to give him a Golden Buzzer, automatically advancing him to the live quarterfinals. In August, he breezed through the quarterfinals with a performance of Michael Bolton’s “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You,” earning enough fan votes to advance to the semifinals, which begin Wednesday.

When is the next episode of America’s Got Talent?

Although the show normally airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m., the semifinals will begin at 8 p.m. on September 11 because the presidential debate is Tuesday night. The live results show will air on Thursday night at 8 p.m.
