Home Front Command lifts restrictions in parts of the country

The Home Front Command issued new guidelines on Sunday, lifting restrictions in many areas of northern Israel and Tel Aviv amid increasing attacks by the Lebanon-based terrorist group Hezbollah.

These new guidelines include the lifting of restrictions in the Upper Galilee. This includes villages and towns in the southern Golan, Lower Galilee, Central Galilee, Beit She’an Valley, the Valleys, Haifa Bay, Carmel, Wadi Ara, Menashe, Sharon and Gush Dan.

While guidelines have been relaxed for the Upper Galilee, only limited activities are allowed in the Northern Galilee and certain municipalities, as described in the defense guidelines.

Hezbollah airstrike on northern Israel

Hezbollah said it fired more than 300 rockets at northern Israel on Sunday.

The Hezbollah attack came shortly after Israeli forces carried out preemptive strikes in southern Lebanon to thwart the terrorist group’s attempts to carry out a much larger attack.

Western intelligence sources said New York Times that Hezbollah had planned a mass attack on Tel Aviv for 5 a.m.
