Homeless man attacks restaurant employee at Angelini Palisades

A GoFundMe campaign has been set up for medical expenses

A worker at the top Angelini Ristorante & Bar in Pacific Palisades was attacked by a homeless man last week, restaurant staff confirmed.

On August 15, around 4 p.m., a waiter at the restaurant nicknamed “Nacho” took a break and walked to the nearby Ralphs on Sunset Boulevard, where he was kicked in the chest and knocked to the ground by the suspect.

“Nacho”, who AngeliniAccording to an employee, the owner of several businesses has not returned to work for about 15 years because he is recovering from his injuries at home.

LAPD officials confirmed that a possibly homeless male suspect was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault in connection with the incident.

A GoFundMe campaign titled “Help Nacho Recover From Assault” was created to help cover the restaurant worker’s medical expenses. According to the fundraiser, he is responsible for all costs associated with this incident. At the time of this writing, the campaign has raised $175 of its $5,000 goal.
