Jasper Johnson’s signing – Live online stream and news about the Kentucky Wildcats

Jasper Johnson’s signing – Live online stream and news about the Kentucky Wildcats

Good morning, BBN!

While we are in the midst of football season in the Bluegrass, today is a big day for the Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball program as we will learn where Jasper Johnson plans to play.

The Kentucky native’s recruitment has gone back and forth, with Kentucky, North Carolina and Alabama being considered favorites at different points in his recruitment. Lately, the trend has been leaning toward Kentucky, which would be a big hit on the recruiting trail for Mark Pope to land the No. 10 prospect for the 2025 class.

If Johnson chooses Kentucky, he will team up with Malachi Moreno, another Bluegrass native, to provide a solid foundation for the class. With Pope looking to prove he can make a big impact in recruiting, signing Johnson would be a huge advantage.

Johnson will make his announcement this afternoon at 2:15 p.m. ET at a ceremony at Woodford County High School. The ceremony is not open to the public but can be streamed below via 247 Sports.

We will also have on-site reporting by our own Dylan Ballard!

Tweet of the day

Malachi and Jasper would be a fun duo in Lexington.
