Long before her time as a judge, Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson starred alongside future Oscar winner Matt Damon while both were studying at Harvard University.

In an interview with “CBS Sunday Morning” over the weekend, the juror recalled his collaboration with the “Good Will Hunting” star and told host Norah O’Donnell that the two had taken the same acting class as Harvard students.

Jackson said that while she and Damon never worked together “in an actual performance,” they did meet as scene partners in one of their theater classes.

“Of course he won’t remember it,” laughed Jackson. “I remember it because he was already pretty well known on campus and off, so it was pretty exciting to be his scene partner for a particular class.”

After the two students performed an excerpt from “Waiting for Godot” together, Jackson received top marks, while the professor left Damon some notes on his performance, she recalled.

“At the end, the professor said, ‘Ketanji, you were very good. Matt, we’ll talk,'” Jackson said. “I just thought, ‘Oh my God, I was better than Matt Damon in one scene.'”

In February 2022, a spokesman for Damon told the Associated Press that the Hollywood star could not remember working with the future Supreme Court justice.

Nevertheless, the “Bourne Identity” actor was fascinated by the story and told AP: “It’s so cool!”

While at Harvard, Jackson studied political science while also pursuing acting and musical theater. She also performed with an improvisational group called On Thin Ice.

Although she did not pursue acting as a career, Jackson, 53, is known for her passionate views and speeches during her tenure on the nation’s highest court.

Damon, also 53, dropped out of Harvard before starting his legendary acting career.
