Kanye West was accused of sexual assault in a new trial.

According to a recent lawsuit obtained by multiple media outlets, West’s former assistant sued him for sexual assault during a studio session he co-hosted Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Lauren Pisciotta claimed West, 46, served her a drink before committing “sexual assault.” West did not address Pisciotta’s allegations. Us weekly asked me for a comment.

Pisciotta’s complaint is an addition to her previously filed wrongful termination lawsuit. Us confirmed in June that Pisciotta had sued West for breach of contract, sexual harassment, wrongful termination and hostile work environment.

West denied Pisciotta’s initial allegations. His lawyers said in a statement that Pisciotta attempted to “pursue him sexually to obtain employment and other material benefits” and then allegedly blackmailed him when “her advances were rejected.”

“In response to these baseless allegations, Ye will be filing a lawsuit against Ms. Pisciotta,” the statement said. “Prior to her termination as assistant, Ms. Pisciotta stole his cell phone in order to destroy phone records that would contradict her claims, all of which have been preserved.”

West further claimed that Pisciotta was fired for “unqualification” and “unsuitable amounts of money.” He also claimed that Pisciotta “offered Ye sex on his birthday, which he refused” and sent unsolicited explicit images of himself.

It’s unknown how much else Diddy, 54, is implicated in the lawsuit’s allegations, aside from apparently co-hosting an event with West. Many stars have detailed allegations about his behavior and wild partying since he was first accused of misconduct late last year.

Although on the surface Hollywood appears to be full of glitz and glamour, the industry has seen its fair share of scandals over the years. The New York Times and The New Yorker first published investigative pieces in 2017 accusing disgruntled film producer Harvey Weinstein of decades of sexual assault and harassment. Soon after, Weinstein was put on trial and (…)

Diddy was arrested in September on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, conspiracy and promoting prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all counts before a judge denied him bail. Diddy was held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn until his trial in 2025 and was denied bail in two subsequent appeals.

Diddy and his legal team have continued to maintain the disgraced music mogul’s innocence.

“We are disappointed by the decision to pursue what we believe to be an unjustified prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney said Marc Agnifilo told Us weekly in a statement last month. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, idolizing his children and working to strengthen the black community.”

Agnifilo added: “He is an imperfect human being, but he is not a criminal. To Mr. Combs’s credit, he has been extremely cooperative in this investigation and voluntarily moved to New York last week in anticipation of this indictment.”
