Keegan-Michael Key announced as guest selection for “College GameDay.”

The celebrity guest picker for ESPN’s “College GameDay” has been announced.

ESPN announced Thursday that actor and comedian Keegan-Michael Key will be a guest player for No. 3 Penn State (7-0, 4-0 Big Ten) against No. 4 Ohio State (6-1, 3). :1) will act. on Saturday in State College, where Week 10’s live show will be filmed.

Saturday marks Key’s fourth appearance on “GameDay,” as he also served as a featured guest selection for Penn State-Ohio State and the Big Ten Championship in 2018 and 2016. Key also appeared on the New York City show in 2017.

Key, 53, earned his master’s degree from Penn State University before beginning his acting and comedy career. Key gained fame for his role in “Mad TV” alongside Jordan Peele, whom he launched in 2012 with the sketch comedy show “Key and Peele” on Comedy Central. He also starred in “Meteor Shower” on Broadway and was a voice actor in various variety films.

Key has made numerous appearances at Penn State over the years, even impersonating Nittany Lions coach James Franklin at Penn State’s spring game in 2018.

Penn State-Ohio State has huge implications for the Big Ten Championship and the College Football Playoff as both teams are ranked in the top four in the latest USA LBM Coaches Poll. The Nittany Lions haven’t beaten the Buckeyes since 2016, which was Franklin’s third season at the helm.
