Kelly Osbourne talks in new documentary about how rehab centers make addicts addicts again

Matthew Perry has been to rehab countless times, but it never worked, and a new TMZ documentary examines how some of these facilities can do addicts more harm than good.

TMZ Studios has a new documentary – “TMZ Investigates Matthew Perry and the Secret Celebrity Drug Ring” – airing Monday night at 9 p.m. ET on FOX and coming Tuesday to Hulu.

The documentary reveals how a ring of doctors, promoters and rehab centers fuel celebrities’ addictions by paying them fortunes for services that are anything but helpful.

Kelly Osbournea recovering addict herself, talks about Body Brokers – people who work with certain rehabilitation centers and stand outside AA meetings looking for addicts who seem to have problems. The Body Brokers get the addicts addicted again and then take them to the rehabilitation center, which makes a lot of money.

This is a shocking insight into the work of doctors, promoters and rehabilitation centers that have caused enormous suffering and – as in the case of Matthew Perry – paved the way for deadly drug excesses.
