Kim Porter’s tell-all book tops Amazon list after Diddy’s arrest

During the arrest of Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleged memoirs by Kim Porter, consisting of diary entries, landed on Amazon. Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey to Justice from the Other Side… was posted on the retail site on September 6, about a week before Combs was charged with sex trafficking and organized crime.

Accordingly Daily MailThe 60-page book was published by Chris Todd, a Los Angeles producer who claims the book contains details Porter saved on a USB stick and shared with friends before her sudden death nearly six years ago. Todd published the unauthorized memoir under the name “Jamal T. Millwood,” according to Daily Mail. He is listed as co-author with Porter.

The book is currently number 1 on the Amazon bestseller list in the category “Biographies about the Western USA”.

Todd provided no evidence for the disturbing allegations in the book, including several claims of physical abuse.

“I was fortunate enough to meet someone who allegedly had Kim Porter’s USB stick,” he told the media outlet. “I know the prominent source pretty well. I know how close they were to Kim and Diddy and all the people in the hip-hop community. This was allegedly for Kim Porter so she could come out from the grave and tell her story.”

Todd added, “This is a dangerous situation and I didn’t mean to take credit for Kim’s words. But now I’m ready to come forward because Sean Combs was recently arrested. Now that the federal government has finally taken action, I feel safer coming forward.”

KIM’S LOST WORDS: A journey for justice, from the other side…

Federal authorities arrested Combs in New York City on Monday. The next day, authorities released a 14-page indictment that states, in part, “For decades, Sean Combs … abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his behavior.”

The 54-year-old rap mogul, who pleaded not guilty to all charges, has been denied bail twice and is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His release date is listed as unknown.

As previously reported, Combs was placed on suicide watch as a procedural measure for high-profile inmates. In a statement to BillboardCombs’ spokesman noted, “Mr. Combs is strong, healthy and focused on his defense. He is committed to fighting this case and has complete confidence in his legal team and in the truth.”

Porter, a mother of four who had three children with Combs – son Christian and twin daughters Jessie and D’Lilah – and an older son, Quincy, with R&B singer Al B. Sure, died of pneumonia in November 2018.
