King Charles reportedly earns well over £1 million a year just by renting out royal properties to holidaymakers in the city!

According to MirrorA new study by experts at Pikl Insurance has revealed that Her Majesty earns £118,775.85 a month from her collection of historic villas.

Even keeping in mind the number of cancellations, the monarchy could still earn £1.4 million a year.

This number includes four major royal properties, namely the famous Balmoral Castle, Restormel Manor, the Captain’s House of Castle of Mey and Dumfries House.

In return, Balmoral Castle, King Charles’ favorite Scottish summer residence, rents out holiday homes to holidaymakers for £36,798.30 per month.

Dumfries House in Ayrshire, on the other hand, costs £31,185.63 for 25 glamorous rooms.

The Captain House at the Castle of Mey, meanwhile, fetches a modest £3,709.92 per month, although the entire property can be rented.

Now comes the most profitable of them: the 500-year-old Restormel Manor in Cornwall.

It brings in a very good amount of £47,082 for King Charles every month as there are four different areas that are frequently booked by the public as well as six converted barns.
