Lady Marshals take first place at Paducah Tilghman Golf Tournament

The Lady Marshals of Marshall County took first place with a team score of 323 in the Paducah Tilghman Invitational Golf Tournament at Paxton Park on Saturday. They defeated second-place Henderson County High School by 24 strokes. Henderson posted a team score of 347, while McCracken County High School took third place with a team score of 361.

Madison Glisson of Ballard Memorial took the individual victory with a score of 73. Katie Roberts of Marshall County shared second place with Claire Reynolds of Daviess County with a score of 75 for the 18-hole tournament.

Other top finishers for the Lady Marshals included CeCelia Ray, who took fourth place with a score of 79. Skylar Waller took 13th place overall for Marshall County with a score of 84. Kelli Roberts finished right behind her in 14th place with a score of 85. Brooklyn Cunningham shot a 90 for Marshall County.

The Murray High School girls took fourth place and the Graves County High School girls golf team took fifth place.

On Friday, August 2, 2024, the Lady Marshals finished second at the Fredrick Douglas Ladies Classic with a team score of 314. Katie Roberts finished fourth with 73 points, CeCelia Ray finished eighth with 77 points, Skylar Waller shot 81 points, Brooklyn Cunningham shot 83 points, and Kelli Roberts shot 86 points.
